Personal data that we process
Dutch Marine Technology processes personal data. Standard personal data may be submitted on our website, such as names, e-mail addresses and telephone numbers. Dutch Marine Technology does not use any social media plug-ins.

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
Our website and / or service does not target collection of data concerning website visitors under the age of 16, unless granted permission by parents or guardians. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. Therefore, we advise parents to remain involved in their children’s online activities, to prevent information about under minors being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced we have collected personal data about a minor without explicit permission, please contact us via info@dmtbv.com and we will remove this information.

Purpose and basis for our processing of personal data
Dutch Marine Technology processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To call or e-mail you in order to follow up on your requests submitted via our website
  • To process your payments
  • To inform you about changes to our services and products
  • To deliver goods and services to you
  • Dutch Marine Technology B.V. also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, for example data that required for our tax returns

No automated decision making
Dutch Marine Technology does not take decisions regarding issues that may affect people based on automated processing. This refers to decisions made by computer programs or systems without human intervention (such as Dutch Marine Technology employees).

Storage duration personal data
Dutch Marine Technology does not store personal data for any longer than is absolutely necessary to realize the purposes for which this data has been collected.

Sharing of personal data with third parties
Dutch Marine Technology will only provide Personal Data to a third party if this party’s involvement is relevant and necessary for legitimate and legitimate business purposes.

You can send a request for access, correction, deletion and transfer of your personal data,  or a request for withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data, to info@dmtbv.com.

To ensure a request for inspection was, in fact, made by you, we request that you send a copy of your proof of identity together with the request. Please black out your passport photograph, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and social service number (BSN) on this copy. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as rapidly as possible, within four weeks at most.

Dutch Marine Technology takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized changes. If you are under the impression that your data is not properly protected or if you believe there are indications your data is being abused, please contact our data protection officer or info@dmtbv.com.
